The SportsCasts

Podcasting has been a fantastic venue for sports media, but athletes often don't get paid for their time or services. SportsCast NFTs change that equation. The host and guest of each SportsCast episode is paid a royalty based on all sales upon release, as well as in perpetuity, as the NFT increases in value and continues to be bought, sold, and traded on the blockchain.

SportsCast records and preserves revealing, evocative interviews with some of the world's most interesting and compelling athletes. Hosted by coaches, professional athletes, and the stars of tomorrow, some of the world's greatest sports figures go head-to-head with each other sharing stories of challenge, defeat, tenacity, and triumph.

For the first time, collectors, investors, and sports enthusiasts can collect and trade these unparalleled NFT's – exceptional digital sports cards encoded with special access to rarified SportsCast episodes. SportsCast collectibles range from the relatively common to the extremely rare, with the most exclusive containing immersive, virtual reality digital enhancements that create a one-of-a-kind viewing experience. With SportsCast NFTs you don't get just another digital card, you get a killer card with direct access to these extraordinary digital experiences that can never be replicated. Your ownership is immutable, and these non-fungible tokens can be yours for life. You can now own and enjoy digital cards that give you access to the personal experiences of your favorite sports stars while you browse, buy, and sell these rocking NFT's from the wide world of sports.

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

NFT's are a "one-of-a-kind" digital asset that can be bought and sold like any other item of value but have no tangible form of their own. In economics, a fungible asset is something with units that can be easily interchanged, like money. With money, you can swap a twenty-dollar bill for two tens, and it still has the same value. That's impossible with a non-fungible item because it contains specific properties that prevent the item from being interchanged with anything else.

Encoded with software, NFTs are collectible digital assets that can represent almost anything unique – like a song, piece of art, digital trading card, or an athlete-driven sports cast. NFTs allow a buyer to own an original item rather than a copy or reproduction and each token ensures true ownership of the digital asset. NFTs are one-of-a-kind, or at least one of a limited run, can't be replicated, and have distinct identifying codes that create built-in authentication and digital scarcity.

Assets can be “tokenized” with NFTs to create a digital certificate of ownership that can be bought and sold. A record of who owns what is stored on a shared blockchain ledger and the records can't be forged because the ledger is maintained by thousands of computers around the world. SportsCast NFTs also contain smart contracts that give holders exclusive access to SportsCast episodes and participating athletes a cut of any future sales of their tokens.
